Free phonics workshop

17th January, 2020

Last night Little Acorns staff undertook some independent phonics training with a fabulous key stage 1 teacher. We are offering current Little Acorns parents the opportunity to join this free workshop which is being repeated on Thursday 23rd January at 7.30pm within the setting. Please speak to one of the staff or email enquiries@littleacornswendover.org to secure your place.

Join us for quiz night!

It’s that time of year again when we gather together for our super quiz night!!! Once again the evening will feature a pizza buffet from amazing local pizza maker Monsta Pizza.
Please get in touch if you have a team or would like to join one. £10pp entry which includes pizza. Paying bar on the night at St Annes Hall Wendover.

Little Acorns is now closed for the Christmas holidays. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year! We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday 7th January 2020.

Our Little Acorns at the Wendover Dementia Cafe

What a fabulous time we had at the dementia cafe this morning with some of our children and their parents. The children were able to interact with the adults who loved to play as much as they did. We will be attending again next Monday if anyone would like to join us at 10.45am.

Family festive morning!

Come and join us for a festive family morning of fun! We'll have crafts, games, Christmas ponies, a Mini Christmas photoshoot with Sarah Greer, a special guest in the grotto and lots lots more! Entry is free and we welcome all families not just those who attend LAK so please let friends and family know. Small charges will apply to activities

Bag2School

4th November, 2019

Little Acorns are once again collecting for Bag2School. If your child attends the setting you will have found a bag in your childs drawer this week but you can also drop in any bin liners from home too! We are collecting in every day between 18th-22nd November. All we ask is please no school or work uniform or duvets, pillows or cushions.

Every bag we donate generates money directly back into Little Acorns so we really appreciate your support.

Golden Wow's!

11th October, 2019

Today we introduced our new 'Golden Wow's'and look how many we had given out before lunch! Well done to our Little Acorns! We award these for all different reasons, it could be something small but for a Little Acorn wearing a golden bracelet it's something big and we are very proud of them!

Fashion Show Fun!

Mums, Nanas, Aunts and friends - Ladies only fundraising Fashion Show! Join us at Little Acorns on 21st November, 7pm for 7.30pm start. Tickets are £5 per person including first drink. Ask in setting for more information & to buy your tickets! A great opportunity to do a little pre Christmas shopping with lots of laughs!

Millies Mark awarded to LAK

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Little Acorns Kindergarten have received a Millie's Mark award.

Millie's Mark is awarded as a special endorsement to childcare providers that go above and beyond the minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid. Millie's Mark is the gold standard of paediatric first aid in childcare.
