The Little Acorns Team
Our highly experienced staff are the most important part of our setting. They offer stimulating, age-specific learning experiences in a happy, caring environment. Our staff to child ratios are always above those required.

Parents are children's first and most enduring educators and we are committed to working co-operatively with parents and carers.

I am very lucky to have the best job in the World!

In my free time, I love to get together with my family and friends. My two eldest boys are grown-up so I love to spoil them when they come home.

My favourite children’s book is The Tiger Who Came To Tea by Judith Kerr.
Jackie

Once upon a time, my two daughters came to Little Acorns and loved it so much that I became a parent volunteer. I then applied for a play assistant job and have enjoyed every single day here for the last ten years!

I love hearing laughter and stories and being amazed at small wonders every day at Little Acorns.
My favourite children's book is 'Peace at Last' by Jill Murphy.

My favourite book is Matilda by Roald Dahl.
Having seen all three of my children through Little Acorns and onto school, I just couldn’t leave the place behind when they left so became a member of the team. I also head up the fundraising 'Friends of Little Acorns' hosting events throughout the year.

I absolutely love Take That, Christmas & movie nights in with my husband & girls.
My favourite children’s book is ‘Chocolate Mousse For Greedy Goose’ or 'Kitchen Disco'.

Jenna

Qualified teacher status
I moved down from Peterborough to the area around 11 years ago. I taught in several primary schools before having my two children. After both attended Little Acorns it was clear that this is a very special setting where every child thrives. Working at Little Acorns allows me to continue to fulfil my passion of teaching the next generation.

I love walking and running in Wendover woods and I love playing sports such as tennis and going to the cinema. My favourite children's book is 'There's a snake in my school' by David Walliams.
